Τυριά, γαλακτοκομικά και αυγά (Tyriá, galatokomiká kai avgá) means cheese, dairy and eggs in Greek, and it isn't all feta. After France and Italy, Greece produces more PDO (or ΠΟΠ, POP) cheeses than anywhere, nearly always from the milk of animals grazed on the country's wild herbs, and often prepared according to methods that go back to Homer's day.
Not only do they produce a lot of cheese, Greeks eat more than nearly anyone else: more than 23kg per person per year!
