Sorvás (σορβάς) is the Pontic word for soup, in particular a yogurt soup made by Pontic communities in Thrace and Eastern and Central Macedonia. It's famous as a restorative soup after a night out, or for stomach aches.
Ingredients include korkóto, paskitán, butter, onion, mint and salt. Because paskitan is strained, it's also known as τανωμένος σορβάς (tanoménos sorvás), strained soup.
