Fit for a Duchess: rolled thin slices of turkey breast with prosciutto di Parma and Parmesan, fry, and then served in a cream and Marsala wine sauce.
It can also be a Torta di Duchessa di Parma, a complicated cake from Parma made with layers of hazelnut cake, pastry cream, zabaglione and chocolate ganache, topped with candied cherries, powdered sugar and chopped hazelnuts.
