Límnos is famous for these pastries (also known as samousádes or σαμουσάδες) with phýllokroústas. Filled with chopped almonds, sesame seeds, ground cloves, cinnamon and sugar, they are shaped in into triangles or rolls, then baked and soaked in a honey syrup flavoured with orange blossom or almonds.
In Turkey they make them as well, often using chopped pistachios.
