‘Sachets’: usually fyllo filled with honeyed ground walnuts and almonds, baked or fried then dusted with confectioner’s sugar. A speciality of the Dodecanese islands.
They can also be savoury pastries in various forms.
Also spelled πουγκάκια or πουγγάκια.
