In the 1970s used to be on every single Greek menu, back in the days when every taverna had the same multilingual menu with the big FIX beer advert, and taverna owners were desperate to cater to the mysterious tastes of the foreign tourists who began to wash up on their shores. Some tavernas were so anxious to please theyeven invested in tinned Brussel sprouts!
