Dunes Blanches
Cap Ferret’s chouquettes
The beloved seaside resort of Cap Ferret is famous for two kinds of dunes blanches, some made of sand and some filled with a delicious white cream, and dusted with powdered sugar.
These chouquettes were invented in 2007 by Pascal Lucas and his son Brice; their Dunes Blanches were an instant success with the locals and holiday makers, so much so that there are now Dunes Blanches boutiques in Paris, Biarritz, Bordeaux and beyond.
