Two houses of well-to-do Romans have been excavated and restored, and are now part of Barcelona’s History Museum.
The Domus Avinyó (1st and 4th centuries AD) on the same street that inspired Picasso’s famous painting still has ceiling and wall paintings, while the 4th-century Domus Sant Honorat on C/Sant Honorat gstill has a garden and geometric mosaics.
