Jacobello del Fiore (c. 1370–1439), was the son of a painter, Francesco del Fiore, and became one of the great masters of International Gothic working in Venice.
He was very fond of raised gold embossing, and taught Carlo Crivelli, the famous painter of Madonnas with cucumbers. Jacobello's surviving paintings in Venice are in the Museo Correr and the Accademia.
