How to save a bit of money
There aren't many bargains in Venice, but the Museum Pass for 11 of the city's civic museums is a good one, and valid for six months after purchase. Unfortunately it doesn't include the Accademia, or the city's great private galleries such as the Peggy Guggenheim, Ca' d'Oro or the Pinault contemporary art collections in the Palazzo Grassi and the Dogana di Mare, but there are discounts for those if you pay full price and keep your ticket.
The pass costs €41, €23 for children age 6-14; students 15-25, and EU citizens over 65; family pass (2 adults and a child under 14, €23 each) and includes:
