Alvise, or Luigi (1446–1502), son of Antonio, was like his uncle Bartolomeo influenced by Antonello da Messina and produced some of the finest works to come out of the Vivarini workshop.
He taught and painted with Marco Basaiti; you'll find his paintings in the Accademia, Redentore, Frari, SS. Giovanni e Paolo, and San Giovanni in Brágora
