'handkerchief' pasta or tarts
Usually lasagna cut into smaller pieces. Fazzoletti can be served as pasta (often with a tomato sauce or pesto), or baked.
Fazzoletti can also be small tarts, sweet or savoury, made of sfoglia dough or crepes.
