amori

ridged hollow pasta spirals

From southern Italy, the double helix-shaped amori are a popular shape for rich sauces or baked pasta dishes. Similar to cavatappi; also known as cellentani, spirali, tortiglioni or fusilli rigati.

Amorosi are the elongated form; amorini or amoretti are a tiny version used in broth.
