chiffeletti

soft sugar biscuits

Biscuits made with butter, eggs and covered with powdered sugar. Chiffeletti di cansado are made with ground hazelnuts and flavoured with orange flower or rose water; others are made with pistachios and walnuts or ground almonds.

Also known as curabiè, and similar to the Greek kourabiedes.
