In Basilicata, patate raganate is a classic cucina povera dish, made with sliced potatoes, onions, tomatoes, olive oil, pecorino, topped with bread crumbs and oregano and baked in the oven.
Oreganata, similarly, is a bread crumb and oregano topping on clams or other seafood, but it's also used to liven up baked vegetables as well.
Raganate or arraganate elsewhere generally means a dish prepared with oregano.
