Red wine, flavoured with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, sugar, orange and lemon zest and piece of apple.
The mix is an important part of the toc ceremony by Lake Como, as part of a traditional wedding or other holiday. After the toc is emptied out of the cauldron, it's filled with ragell and set alight, then drunk hot out of a wooden bowl shared by all the guests.
