Both the dried seeds and the fresh herb. The singular is coriandolo.
Also a kind of pasta that resembles coriander seeds, made from chick pea and cicerchia flour.
However, if someone asks you to bring coriandoli to a New Year's party, they probably mean what we call confetti. Unless they mean colourful pasta that looks like confetti...
