Fernet-Branca
herbal digestivo
Invented by herbalist Bernardino Branca in 1845 in Milan, Fernet-Brancaone of Italy's most popular digestivos, made from 27 herbs from around the world and aged in oak barrels for a year. It's also used in cocktails; in Argentina, it's so popular with Coca Cola that the country imports over three quarters of the national production.
Batman fans may recognize it as the favourite tipple of Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred.
