A classic Abruzzese cucina povera dish from the province of Chieti, with numerous variations, pizz' e foje is made of a pizza di granturco (also known as a pizze de randinie—a thin corn flour pizza, baked in the oven and broken into bits) with stewed mixed greens (chicory, cime di rapa, borage, wild rocket, etc), anchovies (or fried sardines), garlic, olive oil and sweet dried chillis. Drizzle with spicy oil.
