It is a tasty fish of many names, known in other parts of Greece as κατσούλα (katsoúla), παξιμάδι (paximádi, or ‘rusk’), παπαγάλο (papagálo, or ‘parrot’), or ποντικόψαρο (pontikópsaro ‘mouse fish’)
