striftádes

στριφτάδες

A classic pasta form of the Peloponnese, usually homemade.

Similar are striftária (στριφτάρια) more cork-screwy in shape, similar to Italian cavatelli.

Striftária is also the name for a coiled cheese and spinach pie from Alónissos.
