Άσπρου Μοσχάτου (Ásprou Moschátou or White Muscat) grapes thrive on the island of Sámos, going into its famous sweet dessert wines: Samos Nectar, Samos Anthemis, Samos Vin Doux and Samos Grand Cru (much loved in France) as well as Metaxa.
