potamolávrako

ποταμολαύρακο

Pike perch or zander. A game fish native to the Evros, but also introduced in other estuaries in Macedonia and Thrace. Sometimes it shows up in supermarkets, too.

Other names include Φασί (fasi) and αλευρίκι (alevriki).
