zymariká

ζυμαρικά

Pasta in general, although many Greeks just say makaronia. Most of the shapes have typical Italian names if you sound them out, such as kochylia.

Egg pasta is ζυμαρικά αυγών (zymariká avgón) or ζυμαρικά με αυγό (zymariká me avgó). Best known kinds are hilopites and flamouri.
