Cary or curry powder is the Indian seasoning also known as garam masala, made with turmeric, ginger, garlic, fennel, mace, cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon and chili powder. As elsewhere, you can buy it readymade in France in the spice section of the supermarket, although the popular brands vary widely.
