chou rave

kohlrabi

Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes (kohlrabi)

Green but sometimes purple, chou rave (kohlrabi) and can be eaten raw or cooked. It’s occasionally used in baked dishes like a potato, or blanched and sliced and served with lemon and olive oil. More common in the northeast of France.
