Calabash (Lagenaria siceraria) in Seoul

Lagenaria siceraria Also known as a bottle gourd or pilgrim’s water bottle, this vine may have originated in Africa, but was grown all over the world in ancient times, for food (when young) and to use as a container (when old and dried).
