Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport is a convenient 4km from the city, although many flights arrive at the larger Pisa Airport.

Getting to and from the Airport

Bus VolaInBus provides a shuttle service to and from the airport to the BUSITALIA Bus Station (Via Santa Caterina da Siena 17) near Stazione Centrale S.M. Novella every 30 minutes from 6am to 8.30pm, and every hour from 8.30pm-11.30pm. The trips takes about 20 minutes; €6 single or €10 return.

Taxis Take 15 minutes to the centre of Florence. There's a fixed rate of €22 to and from the central hotels (€24 during holidays, and €25 from 10pm-6am), plus €1 for each piece of luggage. +39 055 4242, +39 055 4390, +39 055 4798.
