A native of Florence, Jacopo Zucchi (1541-90) trained with Vasari and helped fresco the Salone dei Cinquecento and in the Studiolo di Francesco I in the Palazzo Vecchio, but soon after moved to Rome where the Medici employed him to fresco the family villa, and where he spend much of the rest of his life. You'll also find his work in the Uffizi.
