Francesco di Gentile da Fabriano (c.1360–1427), from Fabriano in the Marches, was the Master nonpareil of the International Gothic style, gorgeously decorative, detailed and elegant, whose work couldn't offer a bigger contrast to that of his contemporary Masaccio.
Most of Gentile's work is lost, but his Adoration of the Magi is one of the stars of the Uffizi.
