Built by Francesco Vandelli in 1833, Modena’s Foro Boario, one of the most palatial cattle markets ever built, could hold a lot of beef—it measures 250m! Today it holds the School of Economics, dedicated to Marco Biagi, famed labour lawyer killed in Bologna in 2002 by the Red Brigade.
