Located in the former Convento di San Mattia, this museum run by the city of Bologna covers anti-Fascist activities before the war (in spite of Mussolini's heavy support for Franco, many Italians volunteered to fight for the Loyalists in Spain) and through the Second World War with photographs, documents, multimedia displays and changing exhibitions.
