In Marconi's hometown, it's not surprising that this is one of Bologna's best-loved museums, with over 2000 historic, working radios, televisions, mechanical musical instruments, cinema equipment, jukeboxes, telephones and computers accumulated over the decades by local enthusiast Giovanni Pelagalli, with rare and unique items dating from 1760 to the present.
In 2007, the collection won a UNESCO prize; at the time of writing, however, it is seeking a new home.
