Even if you only have a passing interesting in anatomy, there is a strange beauty to the University's museum of animal skeletons, rather bizarrely chained to the walls, which does make you wonder what they get up to after dark. Detailed coloured wax models of nervous systems are the pride of the collection, begun in the early 19th century, along with the 16m skeleton of a sperm whale.
