After travelling all around the city in recent decades, Barcelona's music museum has at last found a permanent home in the new Auditori. It displays some 500 of the 1600 instruments in the city's vast hoard (including a remarkable collection of historic guitars), in two main permanent exhibitions: the 'Path of Orpheus', with audio visuals on the history of music from all around the world, ending up in the interactive room and 'The Permanence of Sound: From the Oral Traditional to Digital Recording'. There are frequent temporary exhibits as well.
