Sidecar
Rocking off the Ramblas
Another club on the jumping Plaça Reial, this one started out in the 1980a as a dance hall that occasionally hosted the entire U.S. Sixth Fleet. Now it is one of Barcelona's rock citadels, though they fit in a little Latin, indie and a bit of everything else. It's rather elegant for a rock venue; some big names play here, and occasionally a celebrity will appear for a 'secret' concert.
The Sidecar usually has two or three concerts a week, and DJ's turn up almost every night at 12.30 or 1am.
