We used your guide to Southern Spain...and found the information excellent and extremely useful, and it certainly helped to enrich our enjoyment and appreciation of the area. I was particularly impressed with the section on the Mezquista in Cordoba, which I had visited many years ago when it failed to have much impact on me. With the assistance of your guide, I was able to appreciate it so much more, and it had a very profound effect on me.
I am writing to you concerning the Cadogan guide to Northern Spain. I have just returned from a three week holiday in this area and found the guide invaluable, indeed I believe it is the best book I have used so far in the Cadogan series.
I have nothing but compliments for your guide to Northern Spain. Three German women friends and I have just completed a three week 4200km car trip around Northern Spain and at every turn your guide provided us with practical information that was useful, and valuable, but even more, with delightful idiosyncratic comments on history, people, places. Your guide was for superior to those brought along by may German friends, who early abandoned them in favour of my 'readings' from Cadogan.
We recently returned from a two week trip around southern Spain with our family and used your guide. We found it extremely helpful and enjoyed all your comments about the various factors that shaped present day Spain.
